Maybe At Sunset

Maybe when the trees have lost there leaves,
I will see you.
At sunrise, your silhouette emerging, out the mist as it warms and lifts.
Maybe by midday your face will turn to mine and smile.

When the moon rises high at its fullest it should light the way to your eyes.

But maybe sunset has hidden you away forever.
