About Idiot Writer

The Sweet Peas

I am a middle class girl; from a middle class suburb, with a middle class education and middle class ambition. I have not travelled the globe nor experienced many of the wonderful things this world has to offer. I do not understand the best part of all there is to know, here on this planet, and I certainly do not profess to have a clear understanding of human nature on a psychological; emotional or spiritual level…I struggle just with keeping this body going! I DO HAVE – a journey that unfolds upon itself in enigmatic spiralling ways, with encounters and lessons learned that tie each other into a beautifully painted picture. I am not a wise old lady, who can tell a grand life story, or a person whose story deserves to be told –

I only have my voice… Perhaps my voice can reach into your heart and make it smile for a few brief moments in time.

‘Do not try and reason with a fool, for he will not understand the wisdom of your words’

  1. Thanks again for your time, effort, and hard work this weekend. You were more than a test subject for the settings, you were actually part of the first step for HarsH ReaLiTy in it’s transition. I appreciate that far more than words can express and I hope you are impressed with the next phases of my endless plan. Again you have my thanks and I hope you will consider writing for HarsH ReaLiTy again. If so feel free to see the new sign up board. Cya on the boards.

        1. Well – to be fair – I have never understood the whole Thanksgiving thing. Not being American is possibly why?
OK – I just had to google Dale Carnegie – does that make me ignorant that the name did not register in my brain?

Thanksgiving post: – Pictures of some nice stuff? 😉

          1. Dale Carnegie, How To Win Friends And Influence People … it was a compliment, even if you haven’t read it !

I’d assumed you were from USA, but what do they say about assuming things ?

I’ll probably go with the awards day … being from UK, don’t really get it either, it’s seems to be like having two Christmases … and don’t Americans complain they get less holidays than other countries ?

Finding time to browse all the blogs I like has been a challenge with my schedule right now, but I look forward to the time when I can.

  4. You are so so worthy and your voice is unique… So glad to meet you, maybe we can enjoy each other journeys into the unknown, following in a great mans footsteps… I heard he had said he wants to be remembered as an ordinary man working with others…. Well I know he was an extraordinary man… just like each one of us can be when we allow ourself to be free from the limited world we have created… It is time to expand into unknown territory and live in harmony together as extraordinary people… Barbara x

Your writing looks excellent, and the blog has a nice ‘feel’.

    1. At times perhaps? I think a lot is nostalgic and a bit too introspective maybe. And at other times – it is the truth of this world that sadness is around each corner – keeping our eyes open for where we can lift it – is a passion…sometimes my brokenness and the brokenness of others worlds filters into the words maybe?
Thanks for your encouragement – oh and WOW – glad to have inspired you to do poetry again! THAT is awesome!

  9. Congratulations for your excellent blog. And the very humble position that you say you’re in.

Nietszche, the German philosopher, once said that any fool can ask questions no wise will ever answer. So, it is smart to seem a fool — or an idiot for that matter — so one can just ask questions. 😎

I liked your posts a lot, for their humor and their unprentious way of talking. Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts.

We’re 5 IT professionals that try to write an amateurish blog about culture. It is in Portuguese, but maybe you’ll like the songs (many of them in English) that we try to talk about.

    Happy 2013.
