Walk forward into far

Creep tide take my hand
Till time abides this never
Fallen down in farthest realm,
Somewhere’s  darkest shore –

Cling under dusk grey sun;
Lay in forget-me-not blue;
Stand up, right, on morns star;
Walk forward into far –

Come undone, become, now come
Take nothing that’s not yours.
Hold everything, green, red or gold
Within your womb of old make peace
For fates hand turns, your life’s time-piece.

My Other

Could I dream without seeing you here?
Think, without placing you near.
Live in ways that don’t think of your spirit
Stand in the wind, without hearing you in it.
Could I sing any song and not feel you inside?
I can open my heart, my soul, and my mind

My body laid bare for skin to collide –
No regret for the shape my lips cannot hide
I could fuck what’s on offer and not give a damn
Stand upright tall, proud bold as I am
Take off my pleasure in flesh with another
But my hearts always yours, my souls other.

Her Star-dust Smile

She felt, places time forgot were human,
looking from inside the magician’s hat
she saw with all in her heart;
moments in time to taste.
And in her heart, her silly heart
are grains of star-dust
looking for their birth star;
they find her and she finds them,
one little one at a time –
Gathering beneath her eyes,
twinkling dew falling
in fine lines across her cheek
brushed aside by her lips curve
knowing all is well, she’ll sing.        ~IW~
