Courage

‘Give me courage’, he said.
How do we receive courage?

Is it within us all the time and we find it when faced with our fears?
Is it grown stronger by more trials and are we only able to get more of it by experiencing more hardship, however we view hardships definition, so to face more of our fears?

We ask for courage to face fear, yet only facing it brings it about.

A child fallen thrice, smiles, lip quivering

111 Words to Wisdom

Focus on your inner voice.
Work steadfastly with mindfulness. Rest, meditate, thus achieve your goals.

Something is teasing me:

If I are not achieving goals it means I am being unzen, and not visualising or meditating to manifest these.

Anyone else being inflicted?

Good things don’t miraculously throw themselves in your path no matter how hard you work or how smart you may be, or how positively spiritually aware.

May I use an example of just how obnoxious this whole plague of thought and ‘spiritual enlightenment’ really is in its narrow mindedness?

Of course, I will.

My Other

Could I dream without seeing you here?
Think, without placing you near.
Live in ways that don’t think of your spirit
Stand in the wind, without hearing you in it.
Could I sing any song and not feel you inside?
I can open my heart, my soul, and my mind

My body laid bare for skin to collide –
No regret for the shape my lips cannot hide
I could fuck what’s on offer and not give a damn
Stand upright tall, proud bold as I am
Take off my pleasure in flesh with another
But my hearts always yours, my souls other.
